the shower could not be adjusted and was fixed high overhead. the room felt tired, not beautiful as described. sound proofing was not great, and i could hear my neighbor's cough clearly.

My room was next to the lift. i could hear noise from other guests at night. the doors were not soundproof, it seems. the hotel appears a bit dated. It could use some updating.

The staff helped us book a taxi to a restaurant. the breakfast offered many options and tasted good. i used the pool and the steam room. Parking was easy.
The room lacked a jacuzzi and treatments were pricey. i found two single beds pushed together. The middle felt hard. the pillows were flat, and the walls seemed thin.

The gardens are REALLY lovely. Staff members were friendly and helpful . They addressed my needs with courtesy and efficiency. The hotel location is also a major plus.

Excellent Stay in Tunbridge Wells

I appreciated the Beautiful Double room. It was spacious with beautiful decor. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were tasty and well presented. The ESPA Personalised facial treatment with Svetlana was refreshing and relaxing. The Spa reception team were helpful. The gym had a variety of equipment. I saw treadmills, rowing machines, and free weights.
The shower head almost worked. The blind in the bathroom was broken. I couldn't raise it because the cord was faulty. The decor seemed worn with stained walls and a tired carpet.

Great Experience with a minor hiccup

I was upgraded to a spacious room with a king size bed on arrival, a nice surprise. The bathroom included both a roll top bath and a large walk in shower. Complimentary Nespresso pods and water were provided in the room. Bath robes and slippers were also available for our use.
Drinks prices were a bit high during the party I attended. Some staff was strict and constantly reminded us about safety rules. The portions during the three-course dinner were not very generous.
